Have your subject ready and willing to participate in your experiment.
In order to avoid the subjects being affected by hearing the other subjects, being primed by something else, or changing the experiment, take these precautions; keep your subjects away from each other, make sure there aren't any distractions, use a timer to make sure you are giving them the exxact same time and experiment as before, and say the same words everytime.
This is where the procedures vary.
If the subject is in group 0, do not show them any pictures, this is the control group so they must not be primed to write anything.
If the subject is in group 1, show them the pictures of the crackers, compass, and jump rope for 30 seconds to prime them to use the letters; u, o, and j, so their words say soup, lost, and jump, then set the pictures aside.
If the subject is in group 2, show them the pictures of the sink, finishing line, and road for 30 seconds to prime them to use the letters; a, a, and b, so their words say soap, last, and bump then set the pictures aside.
This is where the procedures are the same again.
Have the subject fill in the blanks on their sheet of paper (so_p, which we are trying to see how many times they choose soup or soap, l_st, which we would try to see how many times they choose lost or last, and _ump, which we will try to see how many times they choose jump or bump)
Record their group, answers, and name so you can accurately record the data.
Repeat these steps with all of your subjects and compile your data into a graph.
